Crafted in
Partnership
Early on, we made a decision that has shaped everything since: we would never keep our suppliers at a distance. We would know them, visit them, and build relationships that last.
Over nearly two decades, our partners in India have become exactly that — true partners. Sonia, the founder of Metis Sourcing Consultants, and Sanjay, who has led our account for many years, have been with us for almost the entire journey.
Their dedication, loyalty and deep understanding of our values have been invaluable. They are not only trusted collaborators but an essential part of the story of Syster P. Much of what we have built would simply not have been possible without them.
Manufacturing is an area where we invest great care and attention. Our jewelry is mainly produced in India and Italy by partners we have worked with for many years.
For us, long-term relationships are essential — not only for quality, but also for responsible practices. We stay close to our suppliers, visit regularly, and work together to ensure that working conditions, environments, and processes meet the standards we believe in.
Transparency is central to our approach. Our partners share their processes, challenges, and cost structures with us, and together we continuously discuss how things can improve — from working conditions to the way resources are used.
Building this kind of relationship takes time. But it is through long-term dialogue that both quality and responsibility grow.
Inside the
Factories
All of our production partners are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), meeting internationally recognised standards for ethical, social, and environmental practices.
But certifications are only part of the story. We believe in seeing things with our own eyes — walking through workshops, talking with the people working there, asking about their day, their conditions, and what could be better.
One visit has stayed with us. A supplier showed us their newly renovated polishing unit: new machinery, proper safety equipment, better lighting — and the best view in the building. The view had been given deliberately to the people working there.
A small detail, perhaps. But to us it meant something important: that the conversations we had shared over the years had mattered.
That is the kind of partnership we believe in.
